Doug is a Professional Genealogist with over 33 years of research experience. He has completed research on all sides of his family and followed trails back into the 1400's.

Doug has taught Genealogy in 3 different states and has also completed research for other individuals. He is also a Professional Author and Photographer and has had articles and stories published in a variety of media and has submitted his photography for contests worldwide.

Doug has self-published seven books about his various family lines. His research is concentrated in the counties of Indiana, Cambria, Clearfield, Bedford, Somerset, and Fayette Counties in Pennsylvania. He has documented over 22,400 individuals spanning 14 generations.

Doug is an "old school" Genealogist. He believes in first hand research and often encourages others to spend the time in the Courthouses, Cemeteries and Libraries to truly validate their research.
